After looking at this Corvette, we can understand why brown cars are growing in popularity again.

Brown cars can be polarizing, but the color seems to be growing in popularity recently. It was a very popular car color in the 1970s, and you know what they say – what goes around comes around.

Since we look at Corvettes all day, every day, we can appreciate something a little different. We love red, black, white, and silver Corvettes as much as the next guy, but when we see a unique color like brown, it really gets our blood pumping.

This 2020 Corvette in Zeus Bronze is extra special. It wears a set of Forgeline AL301 wheels in Hampton Gold. The combination of the Zeus Bronze body and Hampton Gold wheels looks simply incredible, and it really takes this C8 to the next level visually. According to Corvette Blogger, the car was lowered on its factory coil-over suspension, and the stance looks absolutely perfect to us.

A Rare Hue

Apparently, fewer than 3% of 2020 Corvettes were ordered in Zeus Bronze. We hope that that number goes up for 2021 as prospective buyers begin to see what this color looks like in the real world. In our opinion, the renderings on the configurator website just don’t compare to the real thing. That goes for any color, honestly.

The Forgeline wheels shown here are a staggered setup, with 20×9″ wheels up front and massive 21×12″ wheels out back. The outer lips are polished, which gives a nice bit of subtle flash to the Corvette’s earth-tone exterior.

Stuff this nice doesn’t come cheap. As Corvette fans, we understand that. Each set of Forgeline wheels is made to order. The wheels seen here might have cost the owner over $7,000.

We won’t tell anyone how to spend their money – that’s up to them. However, wheels are one of the most important visual elements of a car. Having a set of one-of-a-kind wheels on your Corvette can help to set it apart from the crowd.
