This amazing 1967 Corvette restomod is nothing less than subtle excellence and features a host of custom touches.

Barrett-Jackson auctions routinely feature some pretty stunning Corvette restomods worthy of us fawning over them. But this amazing 1967 Corvette restomod, built by the folks at Flat Out Autos, truly stands out from an already packed field at B-J’s flagship Scottsdale auction. Everything about this cool classic, from its stance to its subtle nature and fine craftsmanship, is quite simply a sight to behold, especially in a space where builders often take things a bit too far.

That starts on the outside, where Flat Out went with clean PPG white paint and a red Stinger hood. Nothing outlandish about these color options at all, but in this case, such a thing isn’t needed. The stance speaks for itself thanks to a set of massive wheels and tires, which required wide rear quarters and tubs to fit the 12-inch-wide polished Curtis Speed knock-off wheels and Nitto NT05 redline tires up into the fender wells.

The 1967 Corvette restomod rides on a brand new powder-coated Coffman chassis that’s been fitted with C6 Corvette suspension components. Under the hood, you’ll find a modern 5.7-liter V8 that features twin throttle bodies and a vintage look courtesy of an LS Classics “tri-power” intake and big block valve covers, all of which is framed in a smoothed-out, matte charcoal gray engine bay. Power flows to the giant rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.

The interior of this C2 is special in its own regard thanks to some masterful work by Easley’s Custom Upholstery. The red leather cabin features sculpted door panels and polished luggage runners in the rear, along with a host of custom touches. That includes a wireless phone charger built into the dash, custom-fabricated seats and center console, an array of billet pieces, and a Classic Car Stereos head unit with Bluetooth connectivity.

The result of all this work is a 1967 Corvette restomod that perfectly meshes the C2’s beauty with today’s amenities, performance, and technology. And to us, that makes it the perfect mix of new and old, as well as a car that anyone would love to drive any chance they get. Soon, that will be the case, as this sweet custom is set to cross the auction block when Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction kicks off on March 20.
